What do I do if I forgot my PIN?
The student who authorized your access will need to log in to their account and reset you PIN. Wake Forest University staff do not have the ability to reset a proxy PIN.
-
The URL I used to initially sign up no longer works. How do I access proxy now?
Your initial e-mail contained a temporary URL for set-up purposes only. This log in and PIN expires 5 days after it has been sent to you. The permanent URL is: http://xe.banner.wfu.edu/StudentSsb/login/auth

I used to be able to access information that I seem to no longer have access to. What happened?
The student is in control of the information that a proxy can access. You will need to contact the authorizing student to resolve your access. Wake Forest University staff cannot change what a proxy can access.
-
I can’t see all of my student’s information; who can change that for me?
Only the student granting the proxy access can change the permissions that are granted. Administrators, IS HelpDesk, Advisors, and Staff cannot change the permissions that are granted.
-
I have access to information but I am unsure what some of it means. How can I understand what I am looking at?
Your student will be able to walk you through your questions since they are able to access the exact same information.
-
I have access to grades but I am not sure when they are available to view?
Your Proxy Access homepage has a link to the University Academic Calendar that indicates grade due dates. Mid-term and final grades are generally available 24 hours after they are due from the faculty.

I need to change my e-mail address linked to my Proxy Access Account. How do I do that?
On the Proxy Access profile page, update the e-mail address and click save. The system will then send two e-mail messages. The first e-mail is sent to the old e-mail address to indicate that a request for a change from this address has occurred. The second e-mail is sent to the new e-mail address indicating that a change to this address was initiated. The second e-mail contains a unique link which you will need to click to confirm the change is correct.
-
When a proxy is given access to two or more students, can the access granted be different for each student?
Yes. Each student who grants proxy access has complete control over access to their information including start and stop dates and permission levels.
-
I received the e-mail to set up my permanent account but the information provided does not work. What do I do?
The information provided in the initial e-mail is only valid for 5 days. You will need to have your student delete your relationship and recreate your account for new temporary credentials to be sent to you.
-
I received an e-mail stating I had initiated an e-mail change, but I did not initiate the change. What should I do?
When a person changes their e-mail address the system will send two e-mail messages. The first email is sent to the old email address to inform the proxy that a request for a change from this address has occurred. If it was done in error, there is a unique link to click to cancel the change. The second email is sent to the new email address indicating that a change to this address was initiated and a unique link to click confirming the change. If you did not initiate the change, you should click the link to cancel the request.
