New sections of FYS 100: “Humans & Environment in Media and Film”
FYS-100-VV (W-F 11-12:15) and FYS-100-WW (W-F 12:30-1:45)
This seminar examines how the environment is depicted in the media and in film, how climate arguments are being constructed in the media, and how the public perceives these messages. We’ll also interrogate the ways in which culture shapes our relationship as human beings to the natural world, exploring the impacts of these relationships on environmental health, public health and world affairs.
