Graduation Information
Special notes about general graduation requirements:
1. Seniors must submit an application for graduation for their records to be activated for certification. You may submit the application via WIN by going to:
Virtual Campus > Your Student Records > Apply for Graduation
Deadline for submitting applications are as follows:
August graduation – May 30
December graduation – September 30
May graduation – November 30
2. A student may receive only one bachelor’s degree (either the Bachelor of Arts or the Bachelor of Science) from Wake Forest.
To satisfy graduation requirements, a student must select one, and only one, of the following options:
- A single major
- A single major and a minor
- A single major and a double minor
- A single major and a triple minor
- A double major
- A double major and a minor
* In order to qualify for options 4 or 6 students must offer a minimum of 135 hours for graduation, and options 1, 2, 3 and 5 require a minimum of 120 hours for graduation. The primary major determines the degree.
3. Distinction levels:
Summa CumLaude – not less than a 3.8
Magna CumLaude – not less than a 3.6
Cum Laude – not less than a 3.4
